FOUNDERS

‪Meet Yana. She is currently studying Psychology at HELP University Malaysia. Drawing inspiration from her late grandfather, who taught her the importance of inclusiveness and kindness, she decided to take initiative and produce a platform where she could help others‬. Her parents have also played a big role in her determination. They have always taught her the importance of putting others first, and that life is not easy for everyone. She has always been determined to help anyone in need and never backs down from a challenge.

Meet Meeshan. Currently studying International Business at Taylor's University Malaysia, Meeshan has always been inspired by the sense of community that colors all of Maldivian history. Feeling the need to make a difference during the ongoing pandemic, she began to lay the groundwork for what would shortly become The Avatteri Initiative.
